Fireheart Ceramics was created by artist and Interior Designer Olivia Debaene-Helton. Having studied ceramics through young adulthood and into her collegiate career, Olivia has over 7 years of ceramics experience. Olivia hand crafts all of her pieces with one philosophy: to find joy in the seemingly ordinary. She is inspired by works of fantasy, nature, and Japanese ceramics. Fireheart Ceramics is named in honor of how Olivia describes what it feels like to live in our world today: like our hearts are burning with feeling. Moved by great joy, sadness, grief, wonder, and confusion, she uses art as a coping mechanism to live in a complicated world.  Olivia feels very deeply that art helps heal wounds and can bring people back to themselves. Her work is for all those who feel that the world is beautiful, scary, and wonderful all at once.
